Notes from 3rd August Regen Brisbane Zoom
Our network of individual Substacks, which reflects our diverse network of people, is taking shape.
With topics so huge and complex as climate change and sustainability, it is hard enough to work out where to start as an individual, let alone agree on what takes priority as a group.
With our individual, but networked, Substacks we are starting to see where each of our aims and views connect, where they differ, and where they complement each other. This is paving the way for innovative collaborations combining different sectors and disciplines to address interlinked issues.
At the 3rd August meeting we reviewed and discussed some of the challenges of creating your own Substack publication: putting yourself out there (exposed), how it’s not necessarily your day job, and how you need to be passionate enough to maintain energy and momentum. It is something that only you could write. Who you want to be seen as?
Because each Substack is under our own banners, not all posts have to fit within Regen Brisbane - but when they do, the post can be shared (cross-posted) on this Substack. There is plenty of opportunity to experiment, adapt, and evolve.
