Global Donut Days 2024 - Local Brisbane Event
The theme for the 2024 Global Donut Days is local action, global connections. Please come along and join with ACF Community Brisbane Northside for their monthly community conversation on Sunday 3rd November.
We will start with this video with Kate Raworth giving an overview of Doughnut Economics
and then ask the question:
How might we encourage politicians, planners, developers, communities, and other key stakeholders to have better conversations (and thereby deliver better solutions) when it comes to housing, transport, urban biodiversity and all the interlinked issues? ie how might we stay within the doughnut in the greater Brisbane region.
And see what opportunities we can uncover when we combine our diverse experience, knowledge, skills and other assets.
It’s the week after the election so there will be a lot of people asking what do we do now? Let’s do what we can to make that a better conversation.

GDD 2024 is a full day of online sessions followed by several days of local events by local groups around the globe.
This year’s theme is local action and global connection.
